I'm gutted and a bit fed up. I just received my first rejection letter from Darley Anderson. It took them just one week to say thanks but no thanks; which either means they are very efficient or my book is a load of crap.

Going postal
Well, I've gone and done it; i posted Megan's thirty off to Darley Anderson. Fingers crossed the lovely Madeleine Buston likes it. Speaking of posting my MS, i can't believe how much the post office charge to send a few pieces of paper recorded delivery. The cheeky bar-stewards wanted over £5 pounds; well i wasn't paying that. Anyone would think the Queen herself was delivering it. Anyway lets hope that in six to eight weeks I've heard something from Madeleine Buston.

Sending out
I'm a wee bit scared; I've decided to send Megan's thirty out to an agent tomorrow. My agent of choice is the Darley Anderson Literary agency. Darley's represents some great author's Jane Costello, Milly johnson and Claire Dowling amongst others. Madeleine Buston over-See's the Women's fiction department; fingers crossed she likes my manuscript.

Gutted
I've just looked at the website of the agency i wanted to send Megan's thirty to, Curtis brown, and they're not excepting any book submissions. I'm gutted and not sure what to do now. I know there are other agencies i could send it to but I'd love to be represented by Jonathan Lloyd; he's Marian Keyes and Freya Norths agent. I should have sent it age's ago, now I'm too late.

I'm Back (again)
Hello,
As you can see I've, been lazy again and, not wrote on here for a while(5 months tut tut).
If you've seen my, Megan's thirty, blog before you'll notice I've updated the blog layout, photo's etc.
The colour's now match the cover of Megan's thirty; what do you think?
If you're wondering what i have been up to, in the last month, well I've been to a few places. In April i took a trip with my fiancee to Edinburgh. While there we visited the castle, Botanical gardens and the zoo. Then in May we visited Chester zoo, again, with my Nephew. More recently (last Saturday) i threw a baby shower for my friend who is due to give birth on July 3rd, see photo above.
As for my writing, i know i said in January that i would be sending out Megan's thirty to agent's but i haven't yet. I am hoping to sort myself out and send it out this week, so fingers crossed.
Thanks for dropping by xx
